For the ninth consecutive year, Travelocity won the "World's Leading Travel Internet Site." More than 150,000 travel agents from 80,000 travel agencies around the globe participated in the online voting.
Sabre was named one of the Best 100 Companies to Work for in Brazil by both the Great Place to Work Institute and the national business magazine "Epoca."

World Travel Awards
January 2005 – For the 11th consecutive year, travel agents from around the world chose the Sabre global distribution system as the 2004 World's Leading Computer Reservations System (CRS)/GDS.
January 2005 – Travelocity was named the World's Leading Travel Internet Site for the eighth consecutive year.
January 2005 – Sabre Travel Network was named the World's Leading Travel Technology Provider during the awards ceremony in Barbados.

ZUJI was unanimously voted Asia Pacific’s ‘Best Online Travel Agent’ by the readers of TTG travel magazines from 17 countries across the region.

GetThere was honored as the Best in Business Travel IT at the annual 2004 Business Travel World Awards in London. The award recognized the advances made in recent months by GetThere to meet specific needs of the European business travel market.

October, 2003 – For the 10th consecutive year, World Travel Awards named the Sabre global distribution system World's Leading Computer Reservation System (CRS) and Global Distribution System (GDS).

October, 2003 – GetThere was named World's Leading Business Travel e-Procurement Solutions Provider.

September, 2003 – Sabre Holdings was ranked 124th on CMP Media LLC's InformationWeek 500 list, a prestigious listing of the U.S.'s leading information technology innovators.
Fortune’s Most Admired Companies
March, 2003 – In the March issue of Fortune magazine, Sabre Holdings was ranked as the eighth most admired company in the industry category of Computer and Data Services. Every year Fortune ranks the top 10 most admired companies overall and also ranks the top 10 most admired companies within industry categories.
Consumer Reports Recognition
March, 2003 – Consumer Reports recently cited Travelocity as a best site for booking airline tickets online. Consumer Reports’ Consumer WebWatch (a nonprofit research project whose mission is to improve Web site credibility) commissioned the survey. Travelocity was praised for promising to maintain customer privacy, enabling easy navigation through the site and providing a satisfying online experience.
Silver LEED Award
March, 2003 – The Sabre Holdings corporate campus was awarded the Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for being environmentally friendly and protecting its surrounding communities. The LEED rating system awards points in the following categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Environmental Quality, Materials and Resources, and Design Excellence.
Sabre de Mexico: Top 20 Employer in Mexico
February, 2003 – For the second year in a row, Sabre de Mexico was named one of the 20 best companies to work for in Mexico by Expansión, Mexico’s Fortune magazine. Sabre de Mexico – a joint venture of Sabre Travel Network, Aeromexico and Mexicana– is the leading global distribution system in every region of Mexico with a bookings share of 65 percent

AGIFORS
October, 2002 – Sabre Airline Solutions received the prestigious Best Technical Prize for development of the Sabre® StaffPlan™ resource planning system from the Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (AGIFORS). Each year, AGIFORS recognizes top contributions in the development and application of decision-support technology to the airline industry. Sabre StaffPlan resource planning system is a new shift-scheduling model that helps airlines manage personnel scheduling at airports around the world.
ComputerWorld Honors
June, 2002 – Travelocity received the coveted 21st-Century Achievement Award from the Computerworld Honors Program for visionary use of information technology in the category of Transportation. General Magic nominated Travelocity in recognition of the company's contributions to the global information-technology revolution and its positive effect on society.
ATTIS awards
February, 2002 - The Sabre Holdings consulting team won the award for Innovative Industry Leading Ideas at the 2002 Air Transport and Travel Information Systems (ATTIS) Expo in Amsterdam. The consulting team is responsible for providing client-focused, state-of-the-art business consulting expertise to the airline and airport industries. Also at the event, Sabre Holdings won Best Airline Revenue Management Provider and Best Flight Scheduling Provider, while Travelocity won Best Online Distributor. The ATTIS Expo is the world's largest event for information technology companies involved in air transport and travel.
2001
VARBusiness Award
2001 - Sabre Holdings was ranked 18th out of 500 leading Solution Providers, consultants, integrators, and service organizations in North America by VARBusiness 500. Sabre Holdings was recognized by VARBusiness after an exhaustive research project in which the editors studied the business models and finances of the universe of IT professional services organizations.
Business Week InfoTech 100
June 18, 2001 – Sabre Holdings and Travelocity were both recognized by Business Week magazine as two of the top companies in the information technology industry. This issue of the magazine ranks Sabre Holdings No. 76 and Travelocity No. 89 in a list that reads like a Who's Who of the IT industry. Sabre Holdings and Travelocity also were listed among the top 10 IT companies with the best shareholder return rates - with 87.7 percent and 105.9 percent, respectively.
Wired Index
June, 2001 – For the second year in a row, Wired magazine named Sabre Holdings to its Wired Index - a list of the top 40 businesses the publication honors each year for driving the new economy. In the June 2001 issue, Wired says, "The Index's 40 companies have demonstrated a mastery of five essentials needed to prosper in this environment: innovation, intelligent use of new tools, strategic vision, global reach, and, above all, networked communication."
Regarding Sabre Holdings, the article says, "The more people communicate electronically, the more they want to meet face to face. This puts the Sabre system, a networked database that handled $75 billion in airline, hotel and auto rental bookings last year, at the center of a new economy sweet spot."
IT Award of Excellence
May 3, 2001 – The Institute of Transport Management (ITM) awarded Sabre Holdings its IT Award of Excellence 2001 accreditation following an in-depth research and selection process by its awards committee. In the Institute's estimation, "Sabre has contributed significantly to the IT revolution taking place in the transportation industry and demonstrates awareness of the industry's developing business and consumer needs."
Business Travel Innovation Award
2001, Sabre® Virtually There™ garnered Business Travel World's prestigious 2001 Business Travel Innovation Award. The recognition represents one of 12 categories recognized annually by the European publication.
To win the award, a company must develop an innovation that has a clearly positive effect on a corporate client. Possible breakthroughs include:
- A one-off innovation devised by a travel manager or other employee for his/her company
- A customized solution created by a supplier or agent for a specific client or group of clients
- A producer, process or service launched by a supplier or agent which is generally marketed
Virtually There creates a customized itinerary for each traveler and coordinates other logistics including car rental, gate assignment and flight details. Users can access destination information such as local attractions and restaurants. Virtually There was recognized not only for these base functions, but also for the addition of an e-mail facility and customer testimonials that endorsed the site, its ease of use and the impact these services have on customers.
Webby Awards
In 2001, Travelocity won the Webby Award for Best Commerce Site. Presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the Webby Awards are the leading international honors for the world’s best Web sites.
Yahoo! Internet Life Gold Star Sites
2001 – Yahoo! Internet Life Gold Star Sites presented Travelocity with its Best Overall Travel Site Award. Travelocity received straight A's for its low fares, noteworthy tools, timely travel advice and additional travel resources for an A+ ranking overall.

CIO Enterprise Value Award
1999, Sabre Holdings was one of five winners of CIO magazine's 1999 Enterprise Value Awards. The honor is made annually in recognition of a select group of companies that use technology to create business value by streamlining processes, improving customer service, creating new areas of business and increasing return on investment. The award to Sabre Holdings was based on the company’s development and continued support of American Airlines' Integrated Forecasting System, a next-generation revenue and profitability forecasting tool.
People's Voice Award
The third annual Webby Awards, presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, presented Travelocity.com with the People's Voice Award for the best Internet travel site.
ORSA Award
Sabre Holdings was the first recipient of the Operations Research Society of America (ORSA) Award. The company was awarded the prize for The Best Operations Research Group in the Country (USA).
Franz Edelman Award
The Institute of Management Sciences awarded the Franz Edelman Award to Sabre Hodlings for the Best Operations Research Project in the World based on the revenue management work performed for American Airlines. And, based on work done by the company, SNCF (the French National Railroad) recently received the Franz Edelman Award for better capacity allocation on high-speed trains, with a resulting 3 to 5 percent profit increase, among other benefits.
Network World Magazine Award
Sabre Holdings was given the Network World Magazine Award for Excellence in User Applications for the QIK product – a user-friendly interface jointly marketed by Sabre and Qantas Airways.
Network World Magazine User Excellence Award
The Network World Magazine User Excellence Award recognized the effective use of networking technologies by Sabre in creating value and solving business problems.
UNIX-Expo Award
The world-renowned flight scheduling system, Integrated Capacity Planning System (ICaP), earned Sabre Holdings the UNIX-Expo Award for International Excellence in Open Systems.
Datamation Client Server Award
Given by Datamation Magazine, the Client Server Award recognized the successful development and implementation of the Sabre Function Book System.
Partners in Leadership Award
Sabre Holdings received the Partners in Leadership Award from the Society of Information Management for the creation of systems driven by business-information systems partnerships.
Strategic Mission Award
Sabre Holdings was awarded the Strategic Mission Award by Communications Week for the innovative and efficient use of networking technology.
ESPRIT Award
Co-sponsored by CIO Magazine and Booz Allen & Hamilton, The ESPRIT Award recognized the successful development and implementation of the Sabre SPIRIT central reservation system for Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Object Management Group Object Application Awards
The Sabre® Availability Processor™ received first place for "Using Object Technology with Legacy Systems" and tied for second place for "Best Implementation of Distributed Applications Using Object Technology" in the Object Management Group Object Applications Awards program. The program was co-sponsored by the Object Management Group, LogOn Technology Transfer GmbH, and IBM.
