Additional Involvement

In addition to education, Sabre Holdings is proud to support other areas in our communities. At our headquarters building in Southlake, Texas, the environment receives special attention. Setting new standards for energy efficiency, water conservation and indoor environmental quality, the facility is one of the largest in the United States to receive a silver award from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program. The entire campus also observes a daily recycling program that includes paper, plastic and aluminum.

In an effort to help build strong, healthy communities, Sabre supports human services organizations that enrich the lives of community members. One example is through our annual employee giving campaign, aptly named “Give Together”, in which Sabre matches generous employee contributions. Since 2000, Sabre and our employees have raised more than $8.7 million that has been disbursed to the agencies our employees support through personal pledges, fund-raising activities and a capped corporate match. We also support local civic and business organizations such as chambers of commerce and professional associations through board involvement, memberships and special events.
