Travelocity Overview

Travelocity is the most popular travel service on the web. Teams of employees working in seven different U.S. offices work together to bring consumers the best in airline reservations, hotel rooms, cruises, vacation packages, car rentals, and last-minute deals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in administering Java applications, Web servers, running on Linux, Solaris platforms.
• Assist in developing monitoring systems for Travelocity and related sites.
• Perform data collection and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Exposed to Java, web servers, web applications.
• Possess working knowledge of Unix, Linux including shell scripting.
• Possess working knowledge of at least one scripting language, preferably Perl.
• Possess strong communication skills.
