Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct logical analysis of moderate to very complex management problems and information systems and formulates mathematical models for resolution of real world problems
  • Prepare mathematical models in forms of equations that relate constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives and their numerical parameters.
  • Gather, relate and identify data with variables in models by applying personal judgment and mathematical tests
  • Prepare written non-technical reports to management indicating solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single resolution
  • Competency to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming

Qualifications:

Education/Degrees: BS/IEOR, MS/IEOR, MS/OR, MS/Transportation, PhD/OR, MBA Statistics and Operations Research

Technical Skills: Linear and Non-linear programming, mathematical modeling, Optimization, Forecasting, BPR, working knowledge of C, C++, Oracle, Unix, and Java preferred

Valued Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work individually and on a team and ability to work multiple projects as necessary. Excellent client interaction skills are necessary.
